** Round 1 Has Ended **

Welcome to our International search for four new faces to rock our wigs in each of these categories: Lolita, Glamour, Alternative & Drag. The Lolita & Glamour categories are being hosted on our Facebook page for Gothic Lolita Wigs, while the Alternative & Drag categories are being hosted on our Rockstar Wigs FB page. The four winners will represent both lines. You can enter into more than one category, but a different look must be submitted to suit each category's specifications. 

STEPS TO ENTER & WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Submit Only One Photo per category of a collage made up of 2 photos - One shot in the collage must be a close up of face and hair - Preferably modeling a wig (does not need to be one of our wigs). The other shot must be a full body outfit shot (preferably wearing a wig) that exemplifies that category to the fullest - Aim for something laid out similar to this but in your own style and presentation: http://bit.ly/y0Z7xP

• PHOTO(s) must be submitted onto the 3rd party application that will become active Feb. 01 on our FB pages. By submitting the photos, contestants give us the right to distribute them on our FB walls, blog, social media pages, etc.
  

• Contestants must include a paragraph containing no more than 1000 characters describing why they would make a great spokesmodel for our two wig brands. Tell us what makes you unique.

• Include your correct email in the box that asks for it when you enter. Facebook forbids contacting contest winners through our wall or messaging system.

• If you don’t own any wigs, your own hair should look full and styled in a manner that is very “editorial.”

• This is not a cosplay modeling search. Please do not submit anything in cosplay. Our former sister company Cosplay Wigs USA will be hosting their own cosplay contest soon.
  

• All ages are welcome. However, if you are under 18, you must get parental consent before entering because we will need their approval before awarding you the grand prize should you win.

• We are looking for individuals who have a great eye for detail, and who look confident, relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera.
  

• Make-up presentation is of utmost importance since the winners will be representing our brands. We always ask our models to wear long, false lashes to create that doll-like appearance that our photos are known for.

• Touching up photos is acceptable, but they should remain a true representation of the contestant - i.e. Smoothing out blemishes and brightening up the face/hair is fine, but stretching out or "shaving off"full body shots to elongate legs, etc. is not.

• Submit something that is of high quality and that we could proudly present on our site as-is. They don't have to be professionally shot, but we are looking at the submission as a sample of what to expect from you in the future. For example, if blurry phone shots in front of a mirror are submitted, we will not take that contestant too seriously - Posturing, knowing how to show off a wig, lighting, and personality in front of the camera are more important to us.

CATEGORIES BREAKDOWN:

• LOLITA: We currently have some of the world’s most renowned and stylish lolitas as spokesmodels, so it is important to bring something unique to the line-up. Stand out from the crowd with your style! If you are more into Gothic Lolita, Hime Gyaru, Fairy Kei, Spank, Brolita, or any other Japanese fashion sub-culture, this is also the category for you (Gyarus should submit in the Glamour category / Visual Kei should enter in the Alternative Category). • GLAMOUR: Many of our Classic Lolita and Rockstar wigs cross over nicely into daily wear and high-concept photoshoots. We are looking for someone who brings a unique face that really shows off the wig in close-ups and in high fashion or glamour shots. Pin-up and Burlesque models welcome! ENTER HERE.
  

• ALTERNATIVE: Most of our designs in the Rockstar Wigs line are perfectly suited for those who want to stand out from the crowd. Beauty comes in many forms, and we would like to celebrate that by using models sporting any of the following: tattoos; piercings; dramatic &/or conceptual make-up; Punk, Goth & Visual Kei fashion; etc. ENTER HERE.
  

• DRAG: Because many of our customers are males who might not have an outlet to show off our wigs, we are looking for someone absolutely FIERCE to represent us. Actually, we’re not 100% sure what we’re looking for in this category --- Surprise us! This category is only open to men. ENTER HERE.
  

CONTEST STAGES:

• ROUND 1: Entries should be submitted onto the Facebook pages in a special contest application starting February 1st. There is no deadline to enter, but voting ends March 31st. Gather as many votes/likes as possible from the moment you enter until the end of March. The "Crowd Favorite" prizes are listed below.
  

• FINALS: Since the individuals will represent us, we will choose The Top 10 finalist for each category that we feel could represent us best. All previous votes will be cancelled, but the popular vote will be considered in our selection process. The top 10 must also submit a new collage in the same layout style by April 30th, 2012. This contest is about looking great in wigs, so looking great in more than one wig is very important. We will transfer over all the essays from Round 1. Voting for the finalists will be open for 2 weeks once they are posted. The photos with the most votes/likes will be the winners.
  

FOUR GRAND PRIZE WINNERS:

• One year agreement to model at least five wigs throughout the year. We will select the wigs that need modeling and collaborate with the winners. Winners will keep the wigs modeled.
• Cash Prize - $150
• We will make arrangements with local photographers in winners’ hometown for professional shots of all the wigs.
• Each winner will be the model on our site banner and FB profile banner photo for at least one month with their name boldly credited.

CROWD FAVORITE PRIZES:

• The contestant with the most votes/likes from each category will receive $50 cash and 2 wigs of choice. This does not necessarily mean they are the Spokesmodel Winners. The total number of votes/likes from Round 1 will determine the winners..
  
• 2nd place in each category wins 2 wigs of choice.
• 3rd place in each category wins 1 wig of choice.
• Top 3 finishers in each category will receive circle lenses of choice (1 pair) from CosLenses.
  
• A contestant cannot win in more than one category. Spokesmodel Winners are not eligible for "Crowd Favorite" prizes.
  
• We reserve the right to disqualify or overlook an entry if a contestant enters photos whose style does not suit the category.
• Participating in any sort of vote exchange program will lead to instant disqualification - Any fake profiles caught voting will result in the same actions.
  
• To keep this fun, honest and fair, the contest has been set to accept only one vote per entry from any given IP address.
